Default help on specing a cam for lq9 s10. cam gurus inside please...

ok, i have a 94 s10 rcsb.

stock headed lq9 that is rebuilt with race bearings, but stock other then that. i have prc dual springs.

ok. my current setup is.

edelbrock performer rpm intake, demon 750 carb, and sanderson headers running into a 3"in/5"out y-pipe dumped infront of rear tire.

my cam is a comp, 242/242 .610/.610 112 cam.

dont get me wrong. this thing screams, and is unbeaten so far.

but i know there is more with a cam geared toward a carbed setup.

i want to keep the stock heads for now, and dont wanna flycut.

also, would like to keep lift around the .610-.625 range so my springs will live. but i know there is more in the lobe seperation, and duration area.

i have a 700r4 with 2500 stall and 3.42 gears right now, mainly because i do almost zero races from a dig and all are from a 20mph roll....(cars and bikes)

so.... let me know what you think?

i guess what im asking, is what do you think will give me the max usable hp in my setup?

i have arp rod bolts, so 7k isnt a problem.

all my races are run from 3k+ so big cam isnt a worry. i just want max effort with my setup, and more then likely 3.73 gears sometime in the fairly near future.
