Default cat question

This is in reference to a question I posted days ago in which alot of people ragged me for wanted to know if the "dent" in a right side cat was really a dent or there for clearance or blah, blah, blah...you get the point. Well now it has brought up a new question. After my stock cats were replaced by the dealership at 104,000+ miles my engine light has come on again giving the same code. I bought the car used and don't believe the O2's have ever been replaced. Are those the problem??? Are they just dirty? I know ....dumb question .......but I'de like some clearity before I spend the money. Thanks alot.

could be. it really needs to be scanned again, the code for your new problem might not have been present at the time of your cat replacement. oh the joys of owning a car, this is the one problem of having a computer control in a car. your at the mercy of a repair shop to diagnose and repair. hopefully right the first time. good luck.
