I have noticed that there are two casting numbers for the 5.3 head the 862 and the 706. Which is the better head? I'm pretty sure they flow the same but what is the difference, the type of head gaskets you can use? Also which would be the better type of head gasket to use or is there a aftermarket type that will work with eithor head? Thanks for the help guys and sorry for the newbie questions.
