Rear gears and dynos???
Why is it that the numerically higher gears will dyno lower numbers than a numerically lower gear on the same car? I would think that the torque multiplication of the higher gear would make the numbers higher, but I know it doesnt. Im looking for the "techincal" reason

Inertial loses. The faster you try to accelerate the parts, the more power is lost in trying to do so.
Frictional losses. The faster you accelerate the parts, the more power is lost to friction.
