Default C6 Z06 pcm with LS2 (58x) and camaro wire harness?

Hi all,

What needs to be done for this to work?

C6 Z06 pcm and an LS2 (58x reluctor wheel) to be swapped into a car with the Camaro LS1 wiring harness

Thanks!

A couple conversion harnesses and lingenfelter makes a conversion box to go from 58x to 24x so you can still use your stock pcm

You either need to use the Camaro LS1 ECU with the harness of get a harness for the Z06 PCM.

If you choose the later it's going to be fun mating that to the Camaro body harness.

I would get the LPE converter box, use the LS1 Camaro ECU and Harness with a Holley 90Mm Cable throttle body.

Get an extension harness for the cam sensor and knock sensors. Aslo you will need to install the knock sensors on the outside of the lower block.

LPE has all the adapters and harness for the stuff mentioned above as well as the injectors adapters.

It's not that hard.

Why on earth do you have the Z06 PCM??

this combination is not possible, if using an ls1 wiring harness you have use an ls1 pcm with lingenfelter 58x to 24x convertor box. if you want to use the C6 Z06 pcm than you have to purchase a new wiring for this pcm.

I'm sorry but I forgot an important point.

I will also have the C6 Z06 wiring harness.

So does the C6 Z06 pcm and wiring harness work with the standard (non-ls7) LS2?

- is it a pretty simple swap of wiring harness if doing at time of engine swap?
The LPE 58-24 adapter might be simple but It could be one more thing that could fail during a race. If reasonable I prefer fewest non-essentials additions.

Thanks!

Like said above you best bet is to sell the Ls7 pcm and harness and get an ls1 style and use the LPE converter box and harness conversions it will make it much simpler.
