New cats new rattling sound!! My catylst burnt up on me about two weeks ago and i went to the the dealership to get them replaced (since it was free due to a federally mandated law stating that any emissions control system is under warranty through your dealer).
After they replaced the cats and new O2 sensors theres been a
terrible rattling that seems to be coming to from the y-pipe but im not
one-hundred percent sure. At an idle it rattles but not as bad when i launch the car. any sudden acceleration will cause the sound. It could be alot of things but anything will help narrow the possibilities down.
Would they have changed the mounts? and that might be causing it. Cause i know those rubber deals arent the most supportive of the exhaust but maybe they need to break in?Any help would be highly appreciated.
