Default Ok guys, have a gauge problem...

I have finally gotten my '97 V6 Firebird re-assembled and the car fires up just fine and everything seems ok up to this point. But, I am having a problem with the tach and speedo. As soon as you turn the key to run (engine on or off), the tach instantly goes to 500 rpm and the speedo reads 30 mph. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to check or does anyone have a wiring diagram for these cars so i can figure out if i need to re-wire anything? I appreciate any help you guys can give.
