Default Using Rail Feed as a Return?

On my TT vette I'm upgrading to a Lonnies Performance dual intank pump setup, and I plan on welding -8 AN fittings on both sides of the rail as a feed.

Can I use the stock feed port on the rail as a return with no issues? Just seems like a wierd placement, but I don't see why it won't work.

What is keeping you from going to aftermarket rails?

I can't think of a good reason why what you are planning to do wouldn't work though...a couple years back Arizona Power and Sound (before they went out of business) had a piece that went in place of the pulse damper on the stock rails and made it a return port.

I'm not saying it wouldn't - I was saying that AZPS had an adapter that turned the damper into a return...since the inlet and the damper are pretty close together, I don't see why one or the other couldn't be a return.
