I recently installed a Moser 12 bolt with 3.73s in the hawk. For the past few weeks, everything has worked normally and i havent heard any whining from the rearend. Now there is whining when i let off the gas and there is vibrating coming from the rear. The vibrating of the car is very noticeable when i let of the gas. I jacked the car up and the wheels were very hard to turn and there was about 6 inches of backlash on the tires when rolling them to each side. Any ideas what the problems could be? Thanks for any help.

Take the cover off and look.
You might get a hundred "could be's" here, and they might all be wrong. I don't see the point.

I'll bet the torque arm bolts are loose at the rear. Bob

torque arm bolts, drive shaft bolts, loose pinion nut. check all your bolts for starters
