Driving without the EVAP solenoid

Driving without the EVAP solenoid I broke the vacuum line off of my stock one. I'm waiting on my new one to show up in the mail. I need to get my car to the shop to get started on other stuff, the shop is only about 10 miles away. Will I just have a vacuum leak until I fix it or should I not drive on it at all.

i remember when my evap line was kinked i could not put fuel in because of pressure build up in the tank it would close the door ....if you broke the plastic nipple off the evap soliniod what i did because i did the same i drilled it a little larger and pushed in a brass barb fitting...
