Need to go back to stock tune after LS1 Edit I ran a search but couldn't find a solid answer. My car has been tuned for a G5X2 with LS1 Edit. I'm in the process of putting the car back to stock and have a couple questions. If I reset the PCM myself, will that put it back to stock tuning?
I don't think it's gonna kill the car to drive it to the shop to get the computer re-tuned, am I wrong?
Also, how difficult is it to go back to stock tuning? do shops save your pre-tune setup for this purpose?

Check here for a file from a car like yours. You could ask on this Forum for someone to send a file to you. Have you asked your shop if they have your stock file?
