why does my 24mm offset rub fender lip?

Default why does my 24mm offset rub fender lip?

i have a set of 275/40/17 AR rebels with a 24mm offset. its stock rearend and everything. why does my tire rub the fender in the back? i currently have the stockers on and they dont rub but the rebels do? any help would be appreciated.

you got too low of an offset & this pushes the wheel/tire outwards,
Offset needs to be in the 36--54mm range pending your wheel width & tire size selection!!

^^Exactly. Just b/c a wheel has the right bolt pattern doesn mean it'll fit properly. I have seen alot of people lately buying the wrong offset of wheels.

OOOHHHH. NOW it all makes since. i thought that the lower the number the less it will stick out. THANK YOU for clearing that up.
