Parking brake question I recently did a t56 sonversion on my 94 z28 and am now trying to get my parking brake to work in the anticipation of its use, its never worked since I bought the car. Ther problem I'm having is that the parking brake will not lock into place once it is rotated upwards. I've located the mechanism responsible, the little arm that pivots when you push the button down. It seems that if I push the front half of the arm down when the brake is pulled it will lock out like it should, however it will not do this on its own. Is there a spring that applies pressure on this arm that I might not have? I've been searching the net for pics but came up empty handed.
