Ring and pinions... C5's & F-Bodies interchangable?

Ring and pinions...C5's& F-Bodies interchangable? Hi guys. Just curious if anyone would know whether or not the 'Vette rear end gears are the same parts as the F-Bodies or not. I know the rear ends are totally different, but wonder if the guts are the same, i.e., 7& 5/8 dia. ring gear, etc.?
