Default LS6 Cam to 228R cam

Just got my hands on a 228 comp cam, .585 on a 112+4 xer lobes.... Question is how much am I going to lose in low end power and tq with the cam swap. I would hate to lose anymore down low since it is where I usually stay. It is my daily and it is an Auto with LS6 intake, LS6 Cam, SLP Longtubes and Tuned. I have the Stock stall that I will Have to run for a few weeks fefore I change it out with a 3600 Vig. Thanks for any help!

The stall will help with the low end power so I wouldn't worry about it and do the swap.

that cam shouldn't lose any power down low over the LS6.

i wouldn't doubt an increase

I wouldn't think you would notice a big loss down low, especially with the converter in the car. However, I would wait to install the cam until you get the converter in the car. You could see an issue of the car trying to push through the brakes with the higher idle speed. Either way, I don't think you will have a problem with giving up too much bottom-end power.

i went fron a TR224 114 and all the bolt ons to AFR heads, 228R and a beat tune. i felt a low end loss soi added the 3.90s.
