Are LTs to ORY to Borlamouth with a cam too much?
So im in the process of ordering some SS Long tubes, and im stuck on if i should get high flow cats or not. So i was just wondering do you think LTs>ORY>Borlamouth with a cam is going to drone too much? Or does the cam take some drone away?
I had a Camaro with LTs>ORY>LM1 and that was close to being my limit. It was also an M6 so cruising RPM was only like 1600 compared to the A4 at 2000.

it all depends on your tollerance level really. some people like it loud, some people dont. just listen to all the different setups and see what you think you like. but i believe that borla is a louder exhaust for sure
i have sweet thunders on my td, from what i hear they are loud, but i like it loud, today will be the first day i start up my car so we shall see.

Get the HF Cats to help calm the RASP that the ORY and open exhaust creates.I have Kook's 1 7/8 headers/ORY to Borla adjustable catback(wide open) and a bigger cam.
It is loud but sounds awesome during cruise and WOT however there is one spot(rpm range 2000-2200) where unless the car is under a good amount of throttle...it is raspy.
I have a sound clip in my signature you can listen to.

Just my.02...I know that sound is importat when deciding what exhaust setup to go with but I would rather my car be faster than it sounds than sound faster than it is..but to answer the question the exhaust you mentioned will sound good at first but over time you (and thepeople around you) will want you to quiet it down..good luck

Thanks everyone, and it its a Borlamouth as in XR1 not a Borla catback. And i Had the ORY LM1 and it sounded really good to me but so far the Borla seems to drone worse.
Yeah my cam is close to yours too, how is the drone when your cruising at 60mph?

And yeah i have looked at plenty of clips that is why I got the Borlamouth setup, but from clips you cant tell if there is drone.
Its just i hate when i have a car that when im cruising at like 60mph there is the really annoying Drone that seems to make everything...idk buzz?
