Western Members - My ESCALADE First Startup w/ new engine!

I bought this truck with a blown up engine...
it had 6 of 8 pistons melted.

now has stage 1 heads, ported and polished intake and throttle body, TOG long tube headers, Borla Dual exhaust, a blower cam, and of course the magnacharger. oh, i also installed a 2800 stall!

still needs to be tuned is why it wont stay running, and I think i have a vacuum leak too... little bugs to work out, but wow.. I think it sounds pretty damned healthy for a 6000lb SUV!

I had the engine out and down to a bare block anyways...

the heads and intake and throttle body were destined for another project so I just stole em for this one. Had a blower...so it NEEDED a blower cam...haha

the duals and LT's make it sound good...lol

can't have a lumpy cam without a stall, it would be a chump off the line... had an extra converter laying around.

my old '03 SS silverado was very fun with almost identical setup to my escalade just with a built transmission too...

the stall has been in a box in my garage for like ummm 2-3 years....

the sc was on the truck already so I just made it mo betta...

it HAD 6 melted pistons so I was startin fresh no matter what, bought the cam, had to make it flow... hense the p&p and stage 1 setup :D

It's all good man I was givin ya a hard time hahahaha. thats cool though. Very nice sounds freakin mean and I am sure once all the bugs are worked out she will strike terror into the hearts of ford men all over.

Nice man I did enjoy those fantastically custom pistons that came with it... very nice man those get like what 16:1 compression with that kind of dish caused by the outside of the piston folding up right? That must be a custom hemi engine.

oh they were custom alright... pretty sure the only reason the damn thing ran at all was the blower was keeping compression on the engine... everything was TOAST!

LOL yeah man well ya know sometimes a blower works as a second engine... kinda like a hybrid.
