T/A Letters
The 'Trans Am" badge letters on the side of my car look like ****. Someone, at some point has taken them off, sprayed them with black spray paint, and glued them back on crooked. The paint is probably from Wal-Mart cause it is just flaking right off too. At first I was thinking of thinking of taking them off, sanding them down and repainting them. Since the tape is obviously ruined and I will have to use glue, my usual method of wetting the surface and moving them around until they are straight, then letting them dry in place, probably won't work. Now I figure I will just go ahead and get some fresh new ones that are already painted white and ready to go. Can I just pick them up at a GM dealership? If so, does anyone know the part # for them? Does anyone make an aftermarket set?

Is there a discount on sponsors through this site that I don't know about. I have ordered from several places that were "sponsors" on here and I never saw any kind of special discount because of it.

If you want something different TSS on the other site has some nice looking ones. You can also get the stock replacements from GM Parts Direct. The Part # for the pewter TA side badge is 10400683 & 10193490 for black.

I had a white TA a long time ago. I took them off and made my own. I think I still have them. They look good, all you would need is to add tape to the back. I can do $20 shipped. If interested let me know and I'll look for them and shoot you a pic.

Arctic white is 9567....there is a list in the description in the link above. We always advise to double check with the paint code on your car though (if its arctic white anyway).
Yes thats per side...but only for yellow, medium red, or SOM. The other colors are more...you must select the drop down to get the actual price. They range from 20.99 to 36.99 per side.
Thats a good deal!! Thats 20.99 per side, correct?

Maybe its to late for this but why would you use glue to stick those on? All you have to do is remove the old ones sand them repaint. Clean (scrape) the back side and get the crud off your car and use double sided tape to put them back on. We use the stuff all the time for emblems. Its not that expensive. That is if you want to go that way and save some money. Glue is a bad idea.
