i think i finally have a common problem(maybe). i have a 95 t/a that when i turn h=the headlights off and the lights go down they make a gringing like noise. i saw that u can move them manualy but nothing happens

I have a 2000 trans am and the same thing just happened to me tonight, when i use the remote to unlock the car the lights flip up and down and then the passenger one grinds for like 5 seconds after it is down. Both lights still work, they both flip up and turn on, but now when I lock, unlock the car or turn the lights on and off the one sounds like it is grinding the gears. Anyone have any input for us..???

You both need the plastic gear for the motor.
