Default ls1 head milling question

does anyone know how much a ls1 head would have to be milled to get to 58 cc

Anyone, i have a deal on a set of heads but they have been cut down to 58 cc and i want to know if i can get 11 to 1 on a dished piston 6.0

It takes .005 of material for 1cc. Stock LS1 heads are 66.67 cc. To get to 58cc you would probably need to mill about .045 off.

Thats what I originally thought but when I looked it up in the Sticky's it said .005.

i just shaved off .18 on my heads and stuck them on a lq4 6.o dont take to much off are youu will have ptv probems
