Ive been noticing this lately, when im on the highway or atleast at 65mph and i begin to slow down. I feel the steering wheel begin to shake...

Ive yet to check my brake pads, to see how they are but what usually causes this problem??

If the shaking happens ONLY when you are pressing the brake pedal....you have warped front rotor(s).

I agree with LS6427...I had the same problem and swapped rotors and no more shaking. If its shaking without braking, might get the tires rebalanced as well.

Yeaa, that's what my brother in law just told me. He's having the same problem with my sister's car and he put new brake pads on a few weeks ago. So guess ill be looking into new front rotor's. It only does it when slowing down at a high speed of 65 and up.

Thats because they aren't warped really bad yet. Maybe turning the rotors will fix it, maybe not. When they get bad they will shake the front end all the way to a full stop at any speed.
