What sealant?
I am about to put my intake mani back on. What sealant should I use in the valley? I have copper high temp, will that be fine, and should I go over the gaskets as well?
Thanks guys

I prefer Permatex black silicone.
You only need to use silicone on the block surfaces in the front and rear - install the manifold gaskets dry. Install the gaskets then run a 1/4" bead of RTV about 1" overlapping onto the intake manifold gaskets from the block surface.

What I liked about the Permatex black (500°) was the texture and the way it applied out of the tube. It allowed me to easily put down a near perfect bead. The manifold sealed completely with it.
If you haven't already finished, use a couple of pencils in two or more bolt holes - catty corner fashion, to guide the manifold straight down.
