Lifter bad?

Question Lifter bad?

I have 04 tahoe 5.3 that has apparent lifter noise on #2 that only happens when cold and resolves after appx. 1min of running. No codes, misfires, ect. Any other possibilities or suggestions before I pull the intake and head. The truck only has 90k .

run some seafoam first, see if it cleans it out.

I have a squeaky lifter but have been told that it wont hurt anything. The noise goes away after it warm up.

Sea foam sounds like a good idea . I always run the stuff in my boat. I think I will try it. I just cant stand the noise at cold start up.
