New cam installed guys.....please step in!
First off, it is the ls1 hot cam, and I really don't want any flameing, but I'll get it anyway so who cares! (p.s. Got the cam, and springs new for $175.) OK I have a header tune from the guyes at Diablo, and will be getting a dyno tune in a week or 2. It will start and idle ok if I feather the gas on startup a bit. I rased the idle to 850. Will the cam cause a p0300? I get some mis-fires on all cylindars. I get alot more on 3, and 4. I tried new plugs and wires on 3, and 4 with the same results. I just need to drive it this week. Any input would be great! Thanks guys!

Log your Long and short fuel trims and see where you are at. More than likely Eagle is correct and your VE/MAF are both pretty far off. A cam will cause the PO300 code though yes. Most people it seems turn the misfire sensitivity down to eliminate this code. Just make sure its not true misfire first.

It's normal for a cam with a bit of overlap. If your an A4, I bet the converter won't lock up either? You have to tweak the missfire tables, though I don't remember exactly what needs to be done.
