Default questions for those running metallic spun cats

if I run the metallic spun cats with the gmmg will it sound like I'm running no cats at all since it flows so well?

it's going to sound better than if you had no cats. It'll be slightly less loud(than w/o them) and it won't be raspy and it'll help w/ popping when you let off the gas w/o going into neutral.

gmmg sounds best w/ cats.

When I was putting my set-up together, Tim at EAD Performance told me that the metallic spun cats would not do as good a job of quieting as the old-style Carsound cats.

I have a GMMG, and it was intolerable with the ORY, so I took his advice and went with the Carsound cats.

yeah, because carsound traditional highflow cats have more filling that helps w/ sound deadening.

it may be too quiet for some, or just right for others.

the only problem that I had with the original carsound ceramic cats was that they only lasted me a year or so bc of the heat, and then I blew apart the driver cat. I loved the way it sounded with them but I can't afford to change my cats like I do my oil changes. So I'm just curious as to the sound difference between them. REVGTO what exactly did Tim at EAD tell you?
