Default Newbie question about shift kits

My transmission is in the process of being built and I was wondering by adding a shift kit if it will help my ET at the track? Or are the gains so small that it is not noticable? My car shifted fine before it was taking out. Thanks

Incresing pressure would help with shifting, and the application of clutches. In other words you will have less slip time before the clutches fully engage. Prolonging the life of your clutches and overall, your transmission. Installing a shift kit is one way of achieving this, or there is the option of getting line pressure up through a custom tune or handheld programmer, by commanding more line pressure.
