Well I just got my car tune by Mike at VENGEANCE. The car is a 2002 Z28, six speed.
-LME 402
-TFS 225'S
-Small cam from Mike at VENGEANCE
-FAST 90/90 ported by VENGEANCE
-1" 7/8th KOOKS headers with 3" Y-pipe w/SLP loud mouth
-:barf: Dana S60 w/4:10's w/ 3" steel drive shaft
Mike had a fun time tuning this car. My racetronix was f?@#ed and I had my 60lbs injectors where all over and I had a bad fuel bucket. It all got fixed and put smaller 42 lbs.
This car drive's so damn good its not even funny. I had a H/C 346 before and it was tune by some one else and it drove like shit and the car blew up after 800 mile and 525 mile were all highway miles. A ghost could tune better then my last tuner . The 402 drive's almost like stock. It don't buck when go up or down hill like the 346 did. Mike at VENGEANCE KNOW WTF HE IS DOING.
I want to thank Mike for doing a bad ass job on my car. Ron for getting the parts that I need after they got lost LOL :D (inside joke). Charlie for droping the rear end in 5 min. after my a/f was fucked up on the dyno. Buddy for finishing the car and putting a extra part on it .
If you want your car to be bad ass go to VENGEANCE, I did and drove 22 hours in the CAMARO so I can say a bad ass tuner tuned my car :D. I can't wait tile the track opens up so I can post some track times.
THANKS VENGEANCE

Damn that was a long drive !! It sounds like it sure was worth it though !!!
Very nice results, and glad to hear you got to drive the thing home with no problems. Good job Mike !!
What was gas mileage like with those 4.10 gears ?? Just wondering because I went to a 402 but kept my 3.42's because I still plan on using the car for out of town spring/summer/fall trips.

This is true. Even though Vengeance usually don't mind giving out cam specs. As their vindicator and vrx cams are all listed. But if you know anything about cams in a 402 you wouldn't need to ask lol.
Anyway, nice choice on the cylinder heads and have fun with it! With a 10bolt you prob would have made 535+rwhp BUT who cares when you can drop the clutch and not worry about breaking driveshafts and rears:nod:

20 mpg on the display or actual ??
I am wondering because my 346 that made 490 rwhp 445 rwtq was able to get over 30 mpg actual quite easily. The best ever was 34.5 mpg actual, and on that run back from Texas at 70 mph in 6th gear with the cruise the display was showing 37-40 most of the way.
Just asking because its going to cost a lot more to go out of town with the bigger motor. Hopefully my 3.42's help.
Again congrats on your build. LME did a nice job on the motor, Vengeance custom cam, and Mike's awesome tuning !! What a combo.
Pics and vids ASAP !!

Not actual, that's what the display said. Actual mpg on the h/c 346 was 30 or better on trips.

Thanxs goat. I looked at my mpg's again and I don't know what I did wrong but I was getting a little over 25 mpg's going 70 to 80 mph not 20. Not bad for 4.10's and 80 mph.

25 mpg is what the display says correct ?? If so take about 8-10 % off for real numbers. Either way not bad at all for all that power and 4.10 gears !!

My bad. Don't camaros have any kind of display? I've never been in a camaro. The last car I drove was 2000 Ram air T/a, I hated it so I spent the extra money on a corvette. I just assumed all the newer cars had displays for your engine info, temp, oil pressure, oil temp, and several other bits of info.
Either way 25 mpg in that car is great !!!

Damn Ron, I can't afford it either. Why do you think I am still driving the same car back and forth to work since 1995 ?? The other reason is she runs like brand new and all I do is change the oil, and fix stuff when it breaks, so much cheaper then a new car payment and full coverage insurance. That's the only reason I have my vette. Thank god for my 93 gran prix. 233,3xx and counting. Going for 400K. LOL Got a 99 GP gt in the garage also in the event of a failure that can't be fixed. The 99 should last longer then the 93, better motor to work with. 3.8 vs 3.1, n/a though not the s/c'd 3.8
