Default Speedtech Nitrous 4150 Diffuser 2-Stage Plate System

I know this isn't the For Sale section, but not many people on Tech will be interested in this except for the guys that frequent this part of the forum. So if anyone is interested I have a 2 stage diffuser plate for sale. Its the 4150 flange and it is BRAND NEW NEVER USED. It was on my engine, but was never used EVER. I went to a carb and with the new intake it won't fit without cutting the windshield. So I figured I'd sell the plate system and buy a fogger setup. This is the best plate system money can buy and the system is good for up to 500hp PER KIT. My loss is your gain. Here are some pics!

What you get is:

2 Speedtech Nitrous Solenoids
2 Speedtech Fuel Solenoids
1 Speedtech Diffuser Plate (Dual Stage)
1 Speedtech Solenoid Mounting Plate (bolts under the nitrous plate)
All lines and fittings to go from Solenoids to the Plate itself
Wiring Instructions & Speedtech Jetting Chart

I paid almost grand for this from Speedtech without a bottle or main line. The price is $850 shipped OR BEST OFFER. PERFECT condition NEVER USED! Any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks,
Matt

If it was a 4500 I'd take it off your hands right now.

I hate selling it, but there is no way around it. With the victor junior and a carb it won't even think about clearing the windshield over hang. Some people have been cutting the glass out, but I just don't want to deal with that.

Here is a pic with the intake setup sittin on a mock up block. In this pic the intake needs to go back another 3/4 of an inch to bolt in place and the back bowl is sitting against the windshield.

Here is a pic of the real engine in the car with the intake setup sitting on it WITHOUT the nitrous plate setup.

I'd turn that thing sideways and be done with it.

Leaving on a 150 and bringing the 2nd stage in when the chassis/track will allow will net better results then a single stage I'd put $ on it.

Yeah that was the plan from the VERY beginning.. Test with one kit until I find the limits of what the car and the 325s could handle then start with the 2nd kit and 5.50's here I come. Then I realized that there were gonna be some clearance issues so my next plan was to turn the car sideways.. But NOOO you can't turn the 4150 flange carbs sideways only the 4500 because the 4150 isn't exactly square. So, its gonna be a SpeedTech fogger and a progressive for now.

**** that's right the 4150 isn't square. That really blows.

You could... have the top of the intake cut off and have a flange welded on sideways, but if you're gonna do that you mine as well put a 4500 flange on it.

for the 4500 series carbs, is it bad to rotate them and mount them with the bowls facing side to side instead of front to back? normally, i see 99% of them mounted with the bowls facing front to back but for hood/cowl clearance, i need to mount side to side.

speedtech stuff is some of the best!

There is no problem mounting them sideways instead of front to back, but there is something in the carb that needs to be changed. I can't remember if its something to do with the floats or what it was. Ask around and I'm sure you will find out. Or just call Holley.

Speedtech stuf is some of the best stuff out there right now... ask around wth real racers, as they have a better feel for what's out there and what works a TON better then ls1tech world for sure.

The floats in teh carb have to be changed ot the oval style that are used with dual 4 barrel applications, so that way when you leave the line the floats don't shift and flood the motor out.
