Y not disable rear O2's with LS1edit?
Other than generating an OBD2 not ready status at emissions inspection time, are there any problems with simply disabling the test for the two rear O2s in LS1edit, such as performance or tuning changes? I'm thinking of doing this in the interim untill I have O2 sims.

If you are running an ORP pipe by all means disable the hardware diagnostic tests for both rear O2s. Then don't waste your money on O2 sims, there is no need. It will not effect performance in any way. Also, turn off COTS if you are not running cats. It will go a long way for making your A/F more consistant in the upper RPM range.
BTW, if you set the test as Type X everything will be fine during emissions testings

OK great; this question is similar to what I was about to post.
My question is slightly more basic, however.
Exactly how do you disable the rear diagnostic tests for the rear O2 sensors? Which tab is used in LS1.Edit and how is it disabled?

Rob,
NY still puts you on the rollers for Emmissions (CT starts with the good stuff today!). Once NY jumps on the bandwagon, we will be home free with a few mouse clicks!

Everyone's right, when you turn off the rear O2s, test status will be COMPLETE. If you had something like an EASE scanner, you could see that in the Inspection/Maintenance section.
