Hey everyone, I have a 2004 z06 with american racing headers with a catless 3inch X pipe, borla stinger catback, vararam cold air, and i ported the throttle body myself. Still has the stock tune!!! Car has wore out almost no tread firestone wide oval runflats on it and has some heavy stereo equipment in it, a sub and two amps as well as an in dash dvd player.

Well anyways I am in South Carolina and I went to Orangburg Dragstrip saturday. It was 78-79 degrees. I ran several passes, like 15 or more. I spun pretty bad off the line and spun hard into second most of the time. My best run was a 7.61 @ 96.5 mph!!!!!! 60 foot was 1.85 I believe. I cannot believe I got that much mph with this car for the mods it has. Almost every single run was 96 or better. Second best time was 7.63 @ 96.5. Best 60 foot was 1.83 but I missed 3rd ran 7.85 at 80 something lol. What would this car do in the 1/4??

These cars put out nice traps for little mods no doubt. I picked up good power with a tune; same mods as you.

whats funny is I was faster than a fox body stang with slicks and skinnys and a 3rd gen with slicks and skinnys. Trapped right along with the majority of the cars there, them being stripped race cars I was happy. Got lots of complements. Lots of people looking under the hood, I assume looking for nitrous lol

I also got my best 60 on a pass that I messed up..it happens
