Default Question about LS4 oil pump ( Part# 12571885)

So, now that this GM high volume pump has come out a few years back, I was wondering who on this forum has been running one for awhile and what their impressions of it was. I am replacing the timing chain/gear set on my 6L this spring along with the cam swap and would like to upgrade the pump. In my truck the oil capacity is 6 quarts so I don't think there's any issues with sucking the pan dry. The truck never sees any road racing. Just drag racing and spirited country road driving. I do frequently spin up to 6K-6.5K RPM several times a day so I would like the added volume. Right now the truck runs 30 PSI hot idle with 5w-30 dino oil and I would like to see it around 40-50 psi on 5w-30 synthetic. In short what're you guys seeing for oil pressure before and after the LS4 pump swap, any problems with sucking the pan dry and if so how many quarts of oil are you running? Something tells me these motors won't suck a pan dry and it's an old myth from years ago brought back in an attempt to haunt us.
