Default help with sts turbo needed

hey i have heard that the sts turbo kits dont perform well out of the box i did some searches, but nothing i could find really answered my questions. i have a 232 238 .605lift .112lsa cam cnc head work 37# injectors long tube pace setter headers and a tune making about 410 rwhp what kind of gains will i make with the sts kit and what are the things i need to change with the kit and my car to see max performance? thanks

Our kits perform great right out of the box! I would say the LSA is a bit tight for the turbo but I bet you could be at 550+ rwhp with the bolt on kit that we offer. I would suggest that you step up to at least 42# injectors and wrap the headers or reinstall the factory manifolds.

What have you heard about the kits not performing well out of the box?

You should ditch your headers to cut down on lag, get a good fuel system ie. pump and injectors, and don't forget to get an intercooler reguardless of what sts claims about the lenght of the pipe blah blah...

The cam is all preference, some will say 112lsa is not good for boost as where a 114-116 would be but hey. I am still running my n/a cam 232/236 .595/.601 on a 112lsa and it sounds and pulls really hard. I do have long tubes which increases lag, but with an auto it's not too bad. The more power n/a the more power with boost.

What compression ratio do you have? The lower the better for boost on pump gas.
