Are you running stock lines? If so, you should just remove your stock feed and upgrade it while you're at it. You can use a braided stainless steel line which will go whever you want it to. If you cut it, you'll need a flaring tool and various fittings, and then you'll need to be able to bend a new hard line to finish the trip to the front of the car. It's more trouble than it's worth, IMO.
