Default Manual steering racks and street driving?

I'll be doing a K-member swap this winter along with swaybars, springs, shocks, and possibly A-arms. I'm toying with going ahead and doing a manual steering rack. After this summer I'll have a winter beater car so the Z won't see anything but perfect road conditions. Does anyone have experience with these things and street driving? How about with an M6 car?

Thanks

I don't know about on a 6-speed, I like it fine on my auto. I do have to two-arm it on slow tight turns if there is a car in the other lane or something. I think you could do it without much trouble though. I have the Madman unit, it is very nice, cleans up the engine, and is light.
