Which cat? I was wanting to get a cat for my car to help quiet it down a little and get rid of that gas smell from the exhaust. I was looking at the Magnaflow 54959 or the 59929 , but wasn't sure if it was going to help at all, since it is hollow

BTW should it be smelling like gas?
I think when you get your new cats, go for a drive and check to see if they get red hot, if so then your injectors are leaking.

raw fuel will ruin a kitty. get a wiideband in there and verify you don't have an issue before adding parts needlessly. I was lookin into the same, but I have a dumped dual 3" set up. Btw I am an hour south of you and I have a Lm1.
