Should I? M6->TH400
Buddy of mine is selling his TH400 setup out of his car cheap. It's for a LS1 but all I would need to do is get a different converter and flexplate, which after selling the one that comes with it, I would be even on the deal.
I know lots of people have done this, I wouldn't do it as a permanent swap, just a track or town thing. I would still keep the 6 speed for heavier cruising and highway drives.
The car is set up with 4.10's and I am already running 28's on the car. It has a BMR tranny mount with relocated torque arm, so I won't have to worry about that.
What do you guys think? Should I do it? What would be the benefits?
Forgot to mention, the 400 is already built with a manual valve body and a trans brake.
