If you don't like the look DON'T BUY THE CAR!!!!! If it is the RS body kit you are talking about. The reason I am saying this is because I am going through the process of fixing my car after talking off the kit. There will be holes all along the bottom of the car that will need to be filled and yes the rear pieces that are on the wing part that kinda run down the rear quarter are bolted in and will leave two big holes that will need to be filled an and have both rear quarters painted. All of this body and paint work is costing $1250 to get back to the way a regular z-28 looks without the kit. What was a great deal on a z-28 ended up being no so good of a deal in the long run/ I shpuld have just bought an ss. Either way, good luck with it and I hope this helps.
