Trick flow 225 springs
I have a quick question though. I bought a set of extreme pressure patriots to put on the trick flow 225's..because everywhere I looked said "max lift .600". Upon further inspection..the spring on the trick flows are STRONGER than the patriots. My cam is a 246*/253* .632" .642" 114 and similar to an XER lobe. Would the stock trick flow springs handle this? they are 160# on the seat at 1.800 and 440# open at 1.150 I dont know the coil bind height though and cant find it anywhere

could you please post the information you found...I called TEA the other day...the springs are a .660 lift spring...better than the Patriot/PRC springs although made by the same spring maker (associated spring). 1.800 install height .660 max lift, bind at .720
I forgot spring pressures
was told that this was the SAME spring as the AFR upgraded 8019
Im running a XER 236 238 601 605 113+2 on my 61cc TFS heads went 127.4 NA at the track yesterday with that setup then broke my rear end on my 3rd pass
Soon swapping to a 235 243 621 624 111+3 LSL lobed PatG spec'd cam
BTW didnt I buy some heads off of you a long time ago?

I have several times with no problems. They generally bind around 1.080 but you have to check each set as all springs can be slightly different from each other.
