Default Fuse box scorched@ fuel pump fuse, 06 Z06

I've got a 06 Z06. I just put a new clutch in it.When I started it up it ran for about 30 minutes and quit.I opened the fuse box under the hood cause it ran outa fuel.It completeil burnt the 20 amp fuel pump fuse up and the surrounding relays.I got a new fuse box and the car started right up.But the fuse got to hot to touch right away.I shut it off as to not ruin another fuse box.It didn't blow the fuse? But you could hardly touch it.I have a KB BAP.It was installed last year and the car was driven for a couple of 1000 miles. When I did the clutch I did add a fuel pressure gauge.I'v double ck,d the wiring twice.I'm wondering why it is heating the fuse and not blowing it? BAP fuse doesn't blow or get hot either. Any Ideas? Thanx, Tom

Pinched wire??
Pump on it's way out?
Maybe, try it without the BAP?
