My parking brake light on the dash isnt working. I've also noticed that when the car is on, but I pull the brake up, the trunk doesnt open when it has before. One other thing i've noticed is that upon starting my headlights are on already with the brake in the up position. Im guessing that I have some parking brake relay problems since all of these relate to the brake. Can anyone guide me through the process of troubleshooting this?

It is the little switch connected to the ebrake handle. Pull the console to get to it. I think it can be cleaned or bent to work again. I've heard it gets bent sometimes. Mine is acting up too but I haven't messed with it. Since mine is an auto, as long as the car is in park the trunk opens and my auto headlights are disabled, but the DRLs still come on right away.

I need to fix mine but I just haven't had time.

thanks, ill give it a try and see what's wrong. hopefully someone else has had this problem and has successfully fixed it. maybe there is something else
