Default Lunati Cam or LTs?

Ok so I have a lifter going bad on my T/A and I have about 600-700 bucks to fix it with I priced the gaskets and lifters at about 250, so that leaves me roughly 400 to do someother stuff to it.

Heres my question I feel that I should go ahead and put a cam and springs in it while I have the heads of but if I do that I doubt ill be able to afford LT's at the same time or even a tune. Is this a bad idea?

The cam specs are 221/221.558"/.558"duration @ .050LVA 114, I can get this with Comp springs rated at .625 for probably $275 from a friend.

The car is not a DD and will be just a weekend car so if I do cam it without LT's or a tune will it be safe to drive?

Also what kind of HP will this make with LT's and a tune?

Default

as long as you don't drive it hard and have 02 sensors working I don't see any danger on the motor. But with LT's and tune car will run much better with a lot of more gains
