Default Belt being thrown off

So I replaced my water pump and now the serpentine belt is being thrown off. Everytime I drive it squeaks. I found today the belt was out of whack and a large portion of it was hanging off the pulley (not good). What can be causing this??? The water pump was replaced with a new tensioner so I dont know, could one of the pulleys be loose?

Did you replace the pump or did a shop?

Well, the specs say 22lb-ft for the water pump mounting bolts (98+),
30lb-ft for 97 and below.

Also, if your belt has been squeaking, look at the ribs on the balancer. There may be some built-up burnt rubber in the ribs, so the belt slides off. Check it out.
