Default need rear main seal help

cant find a write up? any special tools needed or special precautions to take. will also be adding stall. Any one got any info on this type of install.

Dont think you need any special tools. When I did my rear main seal I removed the rear cover, pried the seal out and used the 4" sewer cap to press the new one in place. RTV where the rear cover/oil pan meat and re-install dat **** .

I think you will find more info in the transmission rooms. I changed my rear main seal in november. Didn't take off the rear cover, just pried the old one out and gently slid the new one in. Used a flat head screw driver to gently tap it in around the edge. I installed it dry per the recommendation of an engine bulder near me.
