Default rear clank.

Ok so today i had the slicks on for a couple passes when all of a sudden the rear starts making sounds and breaking up. At low speeds and when turning the rear clanks and the car jerks from side to side like the rear isnt conected properly. The brake light came on in the car and it wont go off, but its an 8.8 with the e-brake not hooked up so it couldnt be that the e-brake is stuck on.
Has anyone had this problem, or have any sugestions.
ps the people at the track said either a bering or a bushel.

If it's pulling & jerking when turning, SOMETHING in the pinion took a dump.

I don't know if it's common or not, but if you were RACING it when it happened, then yes, it is very common.
