Default New tranny, new problem

Just got my tranny rebuilt and during normal driving I have no problems, it's when I give it a WOT push is the problem. I get a few cluncking noises when I punch it. It sounds like the tranny is going to fall off. It takes off like a bat out of hell, but i get those cluncking noises. Could it be that the tranny isn't mounted in just right or the converter isn't in all the way or what

If the converter isn't in all the way, you'd know it. The trans would be fried already.

I would check all of the mountings, Torque arm, trans mount (check for tearing, you'll have to pry between the trans and crossmember to see it/feel it). Check the exhaust where it bolts to the tailhousing. Sounds like what my trans mount did when it broke though, I'd start there. Check to make sure they tightened the trans mount as well, they may have left the nut out or something stupid. It happens sometimes....

Failing all that, could be internal but it's not likely.
