Default need some cam help!

i bought a flowtech cam (streetsweeper ht) and measured the basecircle to see what the difference was between that cam and the stocker. the flowtech measured 1.440 and the stocker measured in a 1.550 ... does this sound right for the cam to have that much smaller of a basecircle... and technically wont i need a pushrod thats .055 longer than stock?

If you're really worried about it...I'd call flowtech up ask them about it and make sure you have the cam card and part number on hand. They can answer most of your questions. After all, it's their product and they should know these details about it. They should also be able to tell you what size pushrod to use. Most cams can use the stock 7.4 length but I'd check with them first. Sorry I didn't have an actual answer but I hope this helps...
