I just got the performabuilt level 2 tranny and the billet 3000 stall installed. I'm using the predator to tune it and was wondering should I turn the upshift torque management off?

I run a Performabuilt Lvl 2 as well and I completely removed all torque management. With the upgraded trans it shouldn't be an issue. If it was a stock trans I would say just half the values if you want it to live.

Really? I didn't think disabling torque management was that hard on the stocker. HardER yes, but to kill it ? Hmmmm, something to think about there.

Its really hit and miss. There are questions and posts about it all the time. There are lots of factors involved how how hard do people drive their cars and what kind of conditions they drive in and things like that. It might kill them, it might not, always be ready for the worse case scenario though I say.

I might turn it off at the track just to see if I gain anything. Then turn it back on when on the street.

killing your torque management will take that pesky hesitation after 1 to 2 shift away. with a built tranny you arent hurting anything by removing it, it should shift faster than tm can engage anyways.

i'm at 95k miles with no torque management on the stock tranny and it's holding up fine if that helps

TM Is turned off in the Z-28 you saw in the lot. Line pressure is boosted a few punds. I'd keep it on until after a few hundred miles.

With what software? I am looking at about 400 possible Torque Management adjustments for a 2000 LS1 PCM and you were able to turn them all off? WOW
