Default LSX intake and camshaft design

Any thoughts on how the upcoming LSX intake will affect current camshaft design on H/C cars?

I think that's a good question but the real question is how will the current crop of ported heads react to the LSX intake?

bigSS,

Probably not a big change to the cams, unless the port length, cross section and tapper angle are a big difference.

pewter99SS,

The LSX should have stock size port openings at the head, and it looks like there is material there to enlarge them even more if needed.

I would think that this intake *might* make reverse splits a thing of the past. Hard to say without actually seeing some flow numbers.
