Default Driver's seat won't stay locked in place. Help?

The guy I bought my car from was a pretty heavy guy, I'd guess at least 350lb. I don't know exactly what he damaged but I'm guessing he must have broken or bent the seat rails. I can now only position my seat either too close or too far for comfort (but good enough to drive), because anywhere else, it doesn't "stick." So, I was thinking that I could just swap the mounting rails between the passenger seat and the driver's seat (if that's all it is, and it's not something with the seat itself.)

Has anyone run into these problems and/or do you have any advice?

Thank you!
