I am considering a cam and don't have a clue what to get. Or how much they cost. Could some of you enlighten me please?

Since its an A4, you'll want to look at cams with an 114LSA(Lobe Seperation Angle). It helps keep the idle more managable, is a lot more friendly with auto's. Also you won't want a huge cam if the car has to remain streetable.
If you don't have a torque converter definitely look into that.

Check the sponsers to the right --------->

Thunder Racing(TR), LG Motorsports, Texas Speed and Performance(TSP), MTI, there's a bunch of them right there that would love to talk to you about cams. Give them a call, tell them what you want out of the cam, and they'll talk your ear off. Every one of them has a good reputation for customer service that I know of. TR and TSP have been especially helpful with me.
